Judy, I'm slow responding to comments from the last few weeks, but better late than never. You ask how things are going after the home break-in in May. It is a slow process because police reports and insurance claims take a long time, as do the home repairs from damage, but the house is almost done, and we even added some extra remodel jobs to be done. I had the Nikon D5000 for several years, then upgraded to the D5300 just 7 months before the break-in. They took the new one, and also the other that I had not yet sold. The insurance does not pay full replacement price, but between the two, plus lenses, I was able to upgrade again to the D5500 and a nice zoom. I really like it, but just have not had much time to really use it or get to know it this summer. It's not that different from the other two, so there was not much of a learning curve. Thanks for asking, and for checking on me!

@B. Thomas: I'm happy to learn your house is nearly finished and that you've replaced your camera. A long and painful process with the feelings of intrusion to boot!
