Prepare to shoot...

FUJIFILM FinePix HS30EXR 1/250 second F/5.0 ISO 125 70 mm

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

I sure hope they are standing at the right end . . those old devices are tricky.

14 Mar 2014 9:43am

@Ronnie 2¢: I hoped so too, but they looked to be very precise. ;D

Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, Canada

Looks like a government job Judy! Everyone standing around watching one guy work! ;-))

@Eric Cousineau: Ha, ha ....... could be! ;D

don from United States

I like the battle scene for the haze that has developed over the firing area.
I think it helps give the shot an authentic feel.

@don: Thanks, Don ... I guess my layers are working. ;D

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

A beautiful composition capturing this re-enactment!! Perhaps processing in sepia would really give it a true vintage feel? Particularly with the treatment you've already incorporated.

14 Mar 2014 9:54pm

@Steven: I'm sure you are right about the sepia and I've tried some, but I'm such a 'sucker' for color I always revert back. ;D

Lena from San Francisco, United States

Nice scene capture...:-)

15 Mar 2014 12:23am

@Anita: Thanks ... one suggested sepia, but although I try some, I always lean toward color. ;D
