January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

A very nice image. I have always admired his tradition of remembering history. Recreate scenarios battles. Share the experience with family, friends, neighbors, strangers ...

4 Mar 2014 8:01am (Vic. Catalonia): Thank you, ... glad you like these traditions; there are lots more to come. ;D

An interesting lunchtime shot. A gunner is a good guess as to the sources of his problem.

They have brought out the heavyweights for this shot Judy! The period costumes are wonderful! Happy ST! ;-)))

@Eric Cousineau: Ha, ha ... I avoided the obvious, which you pointed out. <grin>

Shiva from Berwick, Canada

Judy, I just learned from Steve, that they had central vacs in l9l6 - why not hearing aids - if he was a gunner, I guess he would have had need for the opposite !!!!! I like the picture with and without it ..... its great.
Kindest regards Monika

@Shiva: I doubt during the Civil War is they had hearing aids this small. <grin>
Here is a picture of one in 1880.

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

Great capture of everyone around the table. The tent helps to add great diffused light to this composition! I think it's best that you left the hearing aid in the photo.

@Steven: Thanks, Steven.
