Heating lunch...

FUJIFILM FinePix HS30EXR 1/180 second F/3.2 ISO 100 7 mm

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

Doug from Burnham-on-Sea, United Kingdom

Nicely captured Judy. I remember from my days as a scout that food always tasted better cooked on a campfire

3 Mar 2014 7:30pm

@Doug: We did a lot of camping when our children were young and I agree. ;D

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

Great capture of this re-enactment, which takes me back to my camping days as a child!!

3 Mar 2014 7:32pm

@Steven: Thanks, Steven ... me too! ;D

Jeff & Pat from Pembroke Dock, United Kingdom

What was cooking, and did you get an invite ???.

3 Mar 2014 7:50pm

@Jeff & Pat: I don't know because I didn't ask. These reenactors stay in character; if you ask a question you could easily be engaged in an hour-long conversation about the problems between the North and the South. I wanted to move on and take photos before the 'battle' began and everyone left the camps. ;D

Flagrant-declic from Alsace, France

Pretty country composition ;-)
