Lucerne's Löwendenkmal...

Posted by
Judy aka L@dybug (Brooksville, FL, United States) on 4 September 2013 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

...Bertel Thorwaldsen's Löwendenkmal (Lion monument) with lots more information here.

PS: This is the final image of our six-week trip in 1998, at least for now. ;D
Tomorrow I'm starting our trip north in May!

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

Wonderful sculpture. The lion's expression seems to reveal a sadness or worry on his face.

A figure hits for its beauty. She conveys strength and sadness at the same time.
