Castle on a hill...

...probably in Carinthia; I wish I could identify it, but am unable to. We toured the castle and came upon these children on a terrace, coloring, having a cold drink, and enjoying themselves.

judging from the style of the house in the lower corner, i would suggest carinthia. it tried to find a link to the castle, but i couldn't. (some of these castles look so similar it's difficult to tell them apart ... ;-)))

@franz: Thanks, Franz; I also tried and found nothing. Considering the trip we took, I do believe this was in Carinthia. We later were in Millstatt, and were fortunate to hear the boys choir in an outdoor concert!

Graciel.la (Vic. Catalonia) from CAT. New European State, Poland

I'm sorry but I can not help. I don't know where to place this castle. But I do know that is a good picture and a good diptych: the castle and children. I like.

(I just want to give a little explanation. My name is Graciel·la. "l·l" is a catalan letter).

Best Regards !

@Graciel.la (Vic. Catalonia): Thank you, Graciel.la, for your comment, and also your explanation of the spelling of your name. Since I can't type it as you do, I can either use a period or a dash; which is better?

Love love the castle. Reminds me of my mom. The two things she loved most about Europe were the castles and the flowers.

@Sharon Pleasants: Ahh, glad I brought what I hope is a happy reminder ... at least of your mom being happy! ;D
