...he who has the most bulk and maybe the loudest horn?

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

Christine from Ellemford, United Kingdom

Aaaaah this brings back memories of India, nicely captured

15 Jul 2013 6:06am

@Christine: I can only imagine; it was far better than Cairo, though. ;D

Doug from Burnham-on-Sea, United Kingdom

Great capture, it brings back memories of sitting in a coach driving though Egypt as it was dark, for some reason cars, lorries, buses etc, only put their lights on when they see someone else is there ! Someone told us it's because they fear the battery running down !

15 Jul 2013 6:46am

@Doug: Exactly, Doug ... for me it was in Cairo where about seven lanes of cars were 'bullying' their way into three lanes; traffic lights didn't work, and God help those on side street trying to horn their way in. I have a vivid memory of a truck loaded w/skinned cows trying to get in front of our bus. ;(

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

This reminds me of a taxi drive in Bulgaria, I asked the man which side of the road do you drive on?
He replied......."the best side"
:-)
I bet those cyclists were experts at finding their own piece of road space.

15 Jul 2013 8:39am

@Curly: Ha, ha ... like New York City cabbies at times. <grin>
Yes, the cyclists were fearless!

Helen from Melbourne, Australia

15 Jul 2013 10:34am

@Jules: Yes ............ but, those cyclists are fearless and find 'holes' they can get through!

Anthony Morgan Lambert from Bielefeld(Old West Wales Boy), Germany

A very sensible rule :-)

Don from Spokane, United States

One must know the local customs to know what can be done. Then, it takes personal bullying skills to succeed. I'll just ride, Okay?

15 Jul 2013 3:12pm

@Don: Me too, Don! ;D

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

WHen my hubby was in India, what he described is much more congested than this. This looks nerve wracking enough for me.

15 Jul 2013 5:48pm

@Ruthiebear: ...and for me too. ;D

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

Looks like a very tight squeeze even without the bicyclists!! A great PoV captured here!
