Oh I wish ! It looks a fantastic cruise Judy
Now we are back on dry land after our Norwegian adventure I just want to be afloat again.

1 Jul 2013 6:42am

@Doug: I fully understand ... I'd go again in a heartbeat!

Lai Chan See from Singapore, Singapore

Quite a cruise over an area known for romance and adventure. I have been wondering what's the difference between nautical and land miles.

1 Jul 2013 6:49am

@Lai Chan See: I had to look it up as I'd forgotten my Chapman info:
The mile of 5,280 feet is sometimes called the statute mile or land mile to distinguish it from the nautical mile (about 6,076 feet, or 1,852 metres).

Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

A journey to remember for sure . . fascinating to see it plotted like this.

@Ronnie 2¢: Thank you, Ronnie ... Mike spent time trying to find a chart so pleased to find this.

Mhelene from Villiers-sur-Marne, France

Fantastic trip, hope you've got your land legs back, can't see " Here be Dragons" and "X marks the spot" on the chart . ;>))

1 Jul 2013 5:55pm

@Jeff: Thankfully we didn't run into any pirates on this trip ... but they're still out there, usually bothering smaller ships. <grin>

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

3 Jul 2013 7:42am

@Jeff: No, no, Jeff ... maybe you'll want to recheck your charts ... the Bermuda triangle is way east of this area. <grin>

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

Bet you're glad that you are not doing it at this time of year :-)
That return route looks interesting with lots of visiting ports to see.

3 Jul 2013 1:12pm

@Curly: I don't think the temperatures are any higher down there now, than they were in February.
The trip south with only Grand Cayman as the only stop, was fine, but it was fun to have more stop on the way north.
