ha ha . . I spent some time trying to figure the reflections before reading your words - that'll teach me ! A real character building here.

@Ronnie 2¢: You must be like me ... when all else fails, read the directions! <grin>

Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, Canada

The caged stairway is an interesting addition to this building! Nicely captured Judy! ;-)

@Eric Cousineau: I fear the "caged stairway" and upstairs access is to prevent crime, which isn't a a happy thought. There were many barred windows. :(

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

I wonder how many bags got spilled in there!!

28 Jun 2013 1:26pm

@Curly: No idea! ;p

Don from Spokane, United States

The cage for the stairwell adds a very distinctive element to the building. Nice shot from the bus.

@Viewfinder: Ummm ... got it! ;D

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

The bus window reflections add interest - I am curious about the closed in stairway.

28 Jun 2013 5:32pm

@Ruthiebear: As I replied to Eric, "I fear the "caged stairway" and upstairs access is to prevent crime, which isn't a a happy thought. There were many barred windows," in the city.

tyan from Singapore, Singapore

i am attracted to the 'birdcage' stairway too. What is this building for?

28 Jun 2013 5:48pm

@tyan: The "birdcage" is a way for them to lock the door at the bottom and protect the stairway and and unauthorized entrance to the second floor.

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

That caged staircase adds an interesting element to this compo! The red roofs add a nice "punch" of color.

@tyan: Oh, this give me a chance to say ... I'm guessing it is where their offices are.

CElliottUK from Reading, United Kingdom

It doesn't look big enough to be a storage facility, maybe storage division, is different from storage facility

28 Jun 2013 6:55pm

@CElliottUK: I'm sure is just an office for the company.

Alun from cheshire, United Kingdom

Really lovely old building. Great thing to see

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

Everything's "wrapped up" for security sake...Well, not an easy life even in Belize-city! I somehow like that house with the caged stairway that gives the whole such an accent!

29 Jun 2013 7:30am

@Japanalia: It seemed sad to see that the local people couldn't be trusted. ;(

L'angevine from Angers, France

@Abena: Thank you so much...
