Clearwater Beach 2

Posted by
Judy aka L@dybug (Brooksville, FL, United States) on 10 February 2013 in Sport & Recreation and Portfolio.

... this is a companion to "Ready & waiting", taken the same day, alongside Pier 60. I love how the sky looks painted in both images.
=> This weekend we're thankful to be in Florida and not back in Connecticut, where this photo was taken. Our hometown of Milford received 3 feet [96.52 cm] of snow in this weekend's blizzard.

If you can walk, you can dance.
If you can talk, you can sing.

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

What lovely white sand. A shot to raise the spirits on a dull, damp, grey day

10 Feb 2013 9:25am

@CElliottUK: I take it you didn't look at my link of Mike shoveling back in the day...

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

I'm always longing for the beach...because it is too far from our home! Well...after a lot of snow, the promise is of a very LONG,HOT SUMMER!

10 Feb 2013 10:12am

@Japanalia: We're happier near the beach ... but don't choose to live too very close.
Climate changes are taking their toll all around the world.

Doug from Burnham-on-Sea, United Kingdom

Now that's where we should be instead of watching the rain poor endlessly out of the sky

10 Feb 2013 10:29am

@Doug: Come on over ... and at the moment we're watching Rugby in Las Vegas!

Mhelene from Villiers-sur-Marne, France

Beautiful beach shot. And yes, far better here in FL than up East. My sister in law in Quincy, Mass has snow up to her fence tops.

10 Feb 2013 3:12pm

@Viewfinder: Thanks ... and our hometown had 38" recorded ... too much! ;D

@Jeff: This really sounds interesting ... I may try to give it a go, however must keep my diabetes in mind.

franz from Baden, Austria

as i said before, i like this white sand ... here, all that's white is the snow that has been coming down all day again, though fortunately not nearly in those quantities as in new england ...

10 Feb 2013 4:37pm

@franz: Enjoy your snow ... if you didn't have it you couldn't ski. (Hope photos are coming.)

Rick from Toronto, Canada

Quite a contrast to what your hometown received, ha ha... Toronto had a decent storm wallop but nothing compared to a lot of other places. Apparently it's all going to be melting away by Tuesday. Nice shot !

11 Feb 2013 12:30am

@Rick: Thanks, Rick ... with all of the media hype before 'Nemo' ... I wondered what would actually transpire. Thankfully they were pretty accurate in their predictions ... this time.

Tim from Ft. Worth, United States

11 Feb 2013 3:41am
