...with its beautiful architecture, sits on about 100 acres, just west of the Hillsborough River.
The mantra to help you make it through:
"Need to, can do. Have to, will do."

-Douglas Pagels

I'll keep that mantra in mind as I slowly catch up on the images I missed while away.

Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

@Ronnie 2¢: I think you are correct! ;D

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

What a quaint archtecture for this building! Quite the "attraction" for the students studying here!
(Thank you for all the comments and answers to my comments! Hope you're not too tired! Loved the photo at Facebook, but I was not allowed to leave a message....something went wrong with the system.)

@Japanalia: Thank you ... the original buildings are truly magnificent. ... I am tired, but catching up (slowly) feels good. ... Sorry you couldn't comment on FB; lots did though.

tyan from Singapore, Singapore

The architecture is really beautiful. The thing about Singapore is that many buildings look like they come out from a factory line, with no soul and originality. The fact that the government is allowing Singapore to be home to 7 million people, half of whom will be foreigners, probably mean there will be more soul-less buildings, only smaller at prices the common folk cannot afford.

Thanks for dropping by and commenting at every post. I missed you! Hope you had a great trip and post pictures soon!

3 Feb 2013 2:19pm

@tyan: That architecture is not common here in FL, which makes the university's extra special. Re: S'pore's, I hear you on the "factory line" buildings. When you say "foreigners", what countries are people coming from?
We had a wonderful trip and I'm still working on photos from our first day ... many more to go. ;D

Basile Pesso from Paris, France

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

Beautiful architecture, indeed! It's good that the University is taking great care of its facilities. An excellent PoV that you've captured here with a nice clear, deep blue sky to contrast!

@Steven: Thank you, Steven. We hadn't even known about the beauty here until the granddaughter of friends graduated from there ... and we went to explore.

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

I missed you!!! Hope you had a wonderful cruise. Lovely architecture and light.

@Ruthiebear: Thanks, Ruthie ... and I missed my 'foto fixes' but it was a wonderful trip.
I was really happy to learn you didn't have a severe case of the shingles!

Abena from Illinois, United States

This architecture is gorgeous! When we came over we dropped my sister off there and explored a bit, hopefully I'll upload some images soon. Excellent image!

3 Feb 2013 9:13pm

@Abena: Are you saying your sister will be attending the Univ. of Tampa?
Glad you have some images to share.

Abena from Illinois, United States
