January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

tyan from Singapore, Singapore

I am thinking to myself how can those stick like legs support the weight of his round, fleshy body? God's creation is amazing:)

24 Jan 2013 3:49pm

@tyan: You are so right; God's creation of the gull is amazing ... as are all of His others! xo

franz from Baden, Austria

excellent closeup of this handsome bird. i think he's giving you the eye ... ;-) (i can't wait to learn what you have to say about cartagena !!!)

24 Jan 2013 4:19pm

@franz: Thanks, Franz ... "the eye" for sure!
You'll be disappointed to learn we did not go ashore in Cartagena. The land tours there were exorbitantly expensive.

Jeff from Pembroke Dock, United Kingdom

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

Excellent image, you know I've never been keen on the idea of cruising. Something about being part of a "captive audience".

25 Jan 2013 9:51am

@Curly: Thanks for the comment on the gull. Re: cruising, Mike wasn't too keen on it 20 yrs ago on our first one, but now pushing 80, his view has changed. <grin>

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

IT has a rather tired look in that eye...perhaps a little sleepy...definitely not hungry!

25 Jan 2013 1:48pm

@Japanalia: Late in the day, IT was probably tired from looking for something to eat. ;D
