The waterfront...

Posted by
Judy aka L@dybug (Brooksville, FL, United States) on 23 January 2013 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

...at Downtown Disney, as seen from the water taxi we rode from one end to the other rather than walking the distance a second time. The walk wasn't bad, but hundreds of Christmastime tourists slowed progress considerably.

A week-long series from a previous visit to Downtown Disney starts here.

Today our cruise ship basks in the sun in George Town, Grand Cayman, in the Caribbean.

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

I like the whimsical and timeless feel of this shot with the balloon. Basking in the sun in Grand Cayman, now that sounds like fun.

@Barbara: Thanks again ... we didn't "bask" in the hot sun the way some did, but we enjoyed the air and and sunshine from the shaded areas. In George Town, GC, we took the tender to shore and out again to get photos of the ship in the gorgeous waters. ;D

@Jeff: Ha, ha ... a great comment, Jeff. The holiday was wonderful, even without any alcoholic beverages! That was an easy way to cut calories and while I ate anything I wanted, I lost 4 pounds. ;D
