Treasure Island Gulls...

Posted by
Judy aka L@dybug (Brooksville, FL, United States) on 19 January 2013 in Sport & Recreation and Portfolio.

...This gal had the gulls all around her; here she is adjusting her camera for more shots.

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

tyan from Singapore, Singapore

Wow, I wonder if she has food around her to attract so many seagulls! Or are they very friendly creatures?:)

19 Jan 2013 4:03pm

@tyan: I saw no sign that she was feeding them, but they were probably waiting for something. ;D

Basile Pesso from France

Wonderful framing and very nice quiet scene.

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

Have a good trip. I will miss you! I am amazed at this image that the birds do not fly away. They must be used to people.

19 Jan 2013 6:44pm

@Ruthiebear: They were no doubt hoping she had something to feed them; she didn't that I could see.

Carol from Leamington, Canada

A beautiful 'beach moment' Judy.... I love everything about this... the sand, waves, birds... all is in harmony! You're going away? Oh, I will miss you.... have a safe journey and enjoy! Stay out of trouble!! :))

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

Peaceful! There where beast and man are the best of friends! I love this one!

20 Jan 2013 2:43pm

@Japanalia: The gal took many, many photos but rarely moved, so the gulls kept waiting for food, I think.

GJC from Kyoto, Japan

This is fabulous. The light; the composition, the colors -- they all work beautifully in this narrow format. Very well done!
