January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.

Maria from California, United States

I like this version better because it has better contrasts

17 Apr 2012 6:10am

@Maria: I agree, although I usually default to color. ;D

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

I prefer this more contrasty picture too, the pewter looks more realistic.

17 Apr 2012 10:35am

@Curly: Thanks, Curly; I was torn between this and the first, the consensus is that this one wins! ;D

klausZ from Kufstein, Austria

great capture and farming, like this "still life"

Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, Canada

This is my favourite Judy! Although yesterdays has that wonderful timeless feel to it! Well done! ;-)

17 Apr 2012 11:22am

@Eric Cousineau: This is the 'winner' by far ... and I cannot disagree, although I always tend to lean toward color.

Trina from Pennsylvania, United States

I like this version too, the shadows and contrast give this image more depth.

17 Apr 2012 11:27am

@Trina: You are definitely in the majority, Trina ... this one 'wins'! ;D

Don Levesque from Saint John, Canada

I like this one better. Yesterday's photo was nice but this one shows more details.
Well done Judy!

17 Apr 2012 12:19pm

@Don Levesque: Thanks, Don ... and this, according to the majority, is the winner. ;D

Rick from Toronto, Canada

The grunge is fun, but I really like the detail and contrast levels in this fine black and white.

17 Apr 2012 1:31pm

@Rick: Thank you, Rick ... and the concencus makes this the 'winner'. ;D

rob from Netherlands

This is nice sharp and good compositie

Viewfinder from Bradenton, FL, United States

I like this one's freshly crisp, tonal clarity. But I really liked yesterday's very classic photo appearance a lot. Tomorrow's image will be interesting.

17 Apr 2012 5:53pm

@Viewfinder: Thank you, Glenn. Most preferred the B/W version, but I'm still on the fence between #s 1 & 2. ;D

franz from Baden, Austria

this is one is convincing due to the sharp and crisp impression it leaves on the eye. i prefer this over yesterday's ... but not the tonality! let's see what tomorrow brings ...

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

Great tones and contrasts captured in this B&W, particularly in the patterned cloth!

17 Apr 2012 10:25pm

@Steven: Thank you very much.

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

I think THIS ONE is the version with a bigger effect on the viewer!

20 Apr 2012 10:44am

@Japanalia: Yes, this is the one most 'voted' for. ;D
