In New Jersey...

Judy aka L@dybug (Brooksville, FL, United States) on 3 April 2012 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

...with surprisingly little traffic.

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

Joyce from United States

Same cool tints. Love it. And the lofty bridge constructs make an impressive composition.

3 Apr 2012 2:58pm

@Joyce: Eric asked if the windshield was tinted it is ... maybe that's behind the tint. Thanks for your comment.

Jeff from Pembroke Dock, Wales., United Kingdom

Great shot, your getting some good stuff through the windscreen, well done.

Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, Canada

Super framing here Judy! Again that green tinge gives the shot a very cool feel! Are the windows of your car tinted? ;-)

3 Apr 2012 6:32pm

@Eric Cousineau: Thanks, Eric, and you just might have found the reason. Yes, the van's windshield is lightly tinted, and then it's heavier/darker at the top.

franz from Baden, Austria

the fun continues ! these 'front row' images are fantastic, judy! the composition here is first class, as is the processing ... again !!

3 Apr 2012 7:10pm

@franz: Thanks so much, Franz. I enjoy fiddling with post-processing at times and on some subjects it works well.

Loner from Wörgl, Austria

So a nice picture. By the big format the bridge looks even more immense. Nice greetings from Tyrol!

@Loner: Thank you, Sonja ... I've been so busy I've not been good with my comments. Your photos are always wonderful.

@Denny Jump Photo: We always do 'En-Joy' ourselves while with family there! I should have noted, this is from the archives; we're here in FL where it hit 87° this afternoon. WHAT? ;D

@Denny Jump Photo: Ha, ha ........ as in any other state, but the name would change. Oh, Lordy, what happens on the Beltway in D.C.? Do they just close it?

Rick from Toronto, Canada

Wow, you've got room to move here and the shot is great and expansive feeling.

3 Apr 2012 9:04pm

@Rick: Yes, plenty of "room to move", which is not always the case. ;D

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

I particularly like this type of bridges, they are very airy! But...I wouldn't want to be on one such bridge when an earthquake strikes......now...that's some story!

6 Apr 2012 9:55am

@Japanalia: No, bridges are the places to be during an earthquake. I think of that with the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco ... and I'm sure many in Japan too, which were built to 'hopefully' withstand the stress.
