Silly one...

Posted by
Judy aka L@dybug (Brooksville, FL, United States) on 21 February 2012 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

...and it's blurry from the screening, but it's the first time I've seen a squirrel stretch out on a chair!

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

B. Thomas from Arlington, Texas, United States

This is so cute. This is just what our tame one used to do when he was waiting for us to come out to feed him. Happy ST.

21 Feb 2012 2:54pm

@B. Thomas: We can't get anywhere near them; as soon as we open the porch door, they're GONE! Maybe it has something to do with Mike trying to scare them away? ;D

tyan from Singapore, Singapore

What an amazing capture, never mind the blur! First time for me too, since they are such timid creatures, they are usually scurrying around, not lounging like that! thanks for your thoughts and prayers, ian still had fever today but not as high.I had a fright yesterday.he is still lethargic but resuming a little of his bubbly self already!

21 Feb 2012 3:22pm

@tyan: Glad you enjoyed my 'resting squirrel' ... but more importantly, I'm so happy that Ian is beginning to feel better. xo

Slackwater Don from Spokane, United States

He makes a cute ST subject. I like how well he's posing. I had one at my window this morning begging for some nuts.

21 Feb 2012 4:09pm

@Slackwater Don: We don't get them coming very close; I guess they find enough food in the area. ;D

Jeff from Pembroke Dock, Wales., United Kingdom

Dear, oh,dear! IT feels so much at home!!! I think even the squirrel is trying this position for the first time, maybe it liked the smooth feeling of the plastic....
