January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, Canada

I can almost hear the Beach Boys blasting out a tune as I look at this vintage vehicle! Haven't seen a "woodie" like this in many a year! Well seen and captured Judy! ;-)

13 Dec 2011 12:10pm

@Eric Cousineau: Thanks, Eric ... glad to see you back in the groove, albeit with lingering pain.

Jeff from Pembroke Dock, Wales., United Kingdom

When I was a kid I always wanted one of those American cars with wooden sides, like they had in the pictures (Movies)..This one will do fine thank you. ;>)

13 Dec 2011 1:29pm

@Jeff: I gather from your comment, that you didn't have those in the UK. Mike's Dad had one, be we never did.

Trina from Pennsylvania, United States

Anthony Morgan Lambert from Bielefeld, old West Wales boy., Germany

the car may be an Oldtimer but the processing is "state of the art" modern !!

13 Dec 2011 2:38pm

@Anthony Morgan Lambert: Thanks, Anthony ... it was a fun shot to work on.

Twojays from Montana, United States

Fun! Well framed, and like the cranked up color. Nostalgic.

Wunderbar gemacht.

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

Love the rich colours that the HDR produces, bit disappointed with your sky though. Sometimes when these don't work out so well it is worthwhile trying to mask in a portion from one of the originals, folks would never know!

13 Dec 2011 5:42pm

@Curly: I agree, the sky is disappointing. I haven't yet learned how to "mask a portion" ... I need to search to find some help?

franz from Baden, Austria

Have a look at this video, and then take a few HDRs and some 0 EV jpgs and play around with them - have fun!

15 Dec 2011 9:46am

@Curly: Wow, he is fantastic. I don't have Photoshop, but do have Corel's PaintShop Pro, which has similar options. Thanks, Curly!

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

Very good job here, Judy! Wonder if that car was REALLY so handsome! But it looks so in your shot!

17 Dec 2011 10:06am

@Japanalia: Yes, it was ... and I embellished it a little. ;D

Don Levesque from Saint John, Canada

Wonderful processing of this beautiful woody!

18 Dec 2011 4:12pm

@Don Levesque: thanks, Don, but as it's been pointed out, I could have done more work on the sky!
