Another firing captured...

Posted by
Judy aka L@dybug (Brooksville, FL, United States) on 12 April 2011 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

...however, it doesn't show in the B 'n W version, so I have posted both.

Now I'd like to ask a question. Which do you prefer?

SONY DSLR-A100 1/250 second F/4.5 ISO 250 112 mm (35mm equiv.)

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

Really like your antiquing here, Judy.

@Monterey John: Thanks, John ... but I do like the fire that shows up in the color version.

Carol from United States

I like it.

Mhelene from Paris, France

The first one is like an old newspaper and the second one has such beautiful colors !! Two superb pictures ...!!

@Mhelene: Thank you very much!

Viewfinder from Bradenton, FL, United States

The two versions are both strikingly good Judy. You and Ken Burns could go into business together. Haha.

12 Apr 2011 12:45pm

@Viewfinder: Yeah ... Ken Burns would laugh! ;D

Jeff from Pembroke Dock, Wales., United Kingdom

Tough choice !, but i'm going to plump for the colour, there's so much more to see,I particularly like the wok smuggling gentleman, with his sword, forage cap, and support belt..Bet he knows a good burger when he sees one.

@Jeff: I love the color version best too ... They eat very well on these reenactment weekends ... did you see the ribs they were cooking?

Magda from Vancouver, Canada

Ralph Jones from Detroit, United States

This one is special and I prefer it without the extra processing.

13 Apr 2011 1:37am

@Ralph Jones: Thanks, Ralph ... here I really like the color and that I caught the fire out of three of the guns. That is lost in the processing.

B. Thomas from Arlington, Texas, United States

I usually like color, the the other has a great vintage quality to it. Like them both.
