Medical tent...

DSLR-A100 1/250 second F/5.6 ISO 320 150 mm

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

Very important tent!

@Jen: Thanks, Jen.

Franz from Baden, Austria

love its position under the spanish moss, though i'd rather stay healthy ...

26 Feb 2011 1:56pm

@Franz: considering the little they could do, your choice is best!

B. Thomas from Arlington, Texas, United States

I guess you'd rather not have to go there after a battle. I bet it was pretty crude treatment.

26 Feb 2011 6:25pm

@B. Thomas: Yes, very crude and limited; much of it was done on the field.

Scott F. Schilling from San Martin, United States

A somber location!

This looks so very, very, Florida - Judy. A whole celebration of life within The Sunshine State.

26 Feb 2011 7:26pm

@Stephen Phillips: Yes, bit of old Florida beneath the trees.

Ralph Jones from Detroit, United States

Ah I see signs of the 21st century in the people seated. I am impressed that this is the first time (except for that on guys sunglasses) in such a long series.
As a side bar I visited our Charles Wright Museum today to see an exhibit and saw a man dressed in Civil war garb taking a break and talking on a cell phone. I tried to photograph him with the cell phone but he insisted to do it without the phone even after I told him that was the shot I wanted.

26 Feb 2011 10:43pm

@Ralph Jones: Yes, definite signs, and way too many to clone out as I did with a few vehicles behind trees in earlier battle shots. ;D It sounds like your subject wanted only to be 'shot' in a more realistic setting. Good try, though.
