Thank you, God, for fire-fighters...

Judy aka L@dybug (Brooksville, FL, United States) on 24 December 2009 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

This street decoration in Tarpon Springs, Florida, touched my heart. I'm grateful to all who dedicate their lives to helping others, and most especially for the safety of my own husband who spent so many years in that profession. Merry Christmas, Sweetheart!

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

Yes, God Bless him! We have all volunteers around our area and they are a dedicated bunch of volunteers who work hard. Very beautiful decorations!

@Lambspun: Mike began as a volunteer and got 'hooked' - then made it a full-time career. He assisted so many I can't help but to be proud of his efforts.
