Back to our Washington D.C. images; this is a stitched image of the circle, and a bronze plaque at the entrance on the Pacific side of the memorial.

January 1st is around the corner, along with an end to my daily posts, at least for now.
Dementia is so debilitating and Hubby needs more of my time.

That's a beautiful image of the WWII memorial. MJ and I are going down tomorrow to spend Saturday at the WWII, Korean and Viet Nam memorials and I can't wait after seeing your photo! I have seen it before, but MJ hasn't.

@Betty: Thanks, Betty ... and the weather looks promising for you. After the weekend you'll have to look back to see more that I've posted from that visit.

The bronze plaque is remarkable, and your stitching of the images together are an impressive presentation. Nicely done, Judy.
I wonder if a mist bottle to spritz yourself while walking would help. Just a thought.

12 Jun 2009 4:46am

@Barbara: Thank you, Barb; the full width panoramic is quite impressive, in spite of a few spots I simply couldn't blend.
The mist bottle sounds like a great idea, tho' this morning we got out before sunrise at 6:45, so that was a help.
