17 Mar 2009 10:51am

@Lorraine: I should have posted a link to the Geico Ins. Co. along with the photo. Have you ever seen their ads?

EYES WIDE SHUT from United Kingdom

What a cute little guy, he can visit me any time. I think he may be checking the label to ensure that it is ecologically safe to use!

17 Mar 2009 11:00am

@EYES WIDE SHUT: I thinkk you have a good point, Paul ... I thought he was cute too.
Have you ever seen the Geico Ins. Co. ads on TV?

17 Mar 2009 12:52pm

@tyan: You haven't seen our Geico Insurance advertisements on TV then. Here's a small image of him. The ads are very entertaining!

Jen from Alpharetta, United States

Perhaps he wanted a little lotion to smooth his skin! LOL!!!!
Cute fun shot

17 Mar 2009 2:02pm

@Jen: Thanks, Jen ... it was a shot I probably wouldn't have used except for the 'Silly Tuesday' idea. :D

MysLykeMeeh from Toronto, Canada

awwww....so cuteee...

17 Mar 2009 2:02pm

@MysLykeMeeh: Thanks!

Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United States

I am forever finding them in the house...
Having fun in LV... we are waiting to leave here for the day so thought I would drop by while I could.

17 Mar 2009 2:38pm

@Fliss: We've only had a few in our 21 years. Mike caught him with only a little difficulty.

Hey, you're supposed to be on VACATION; what are doing online? :D

Susan from Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States

Oh, how these guys give me the creeps when the get in the house!!!!!

17 Mar 2009 3:07pm

@Susan: They don't really bother me; we've only had a few in our 21 years here.
I just don't want to find dead ones! :D

Chris from South Jersey, United States

his skin does look a little rough, that is probably why he is looking at your hand creme......
really amusing shot.....

17 Mar 2009 5:52pm

@Chris: Thanks, Chris ..... that's funny!

Marie-Hélène Ammor from Casablanca/Paris, Morocco

Just curious ...! :-) Great shot Judy !

17 Mar 2009 6:27pm

Carol from United States

love it

17 Mar 2009 7:09pm

JJ from Jersey City, United States

He seems interested in the antibacterial soap, my wife would freak if she saw this in the house

18 Mar 2009 1:55am

@JJ: They are so harmless, and far more afraid of us than we of them.
This fellow was VERY patient when I appeared w/the camera!

Barbara from Florida, United States

What a surprise capture this one is. I love it!
He looks like he is doing a dance and about to tell you, you could save money on your auto insurance.
Fun shot!

18 Mar 2009 3:03am

@Barbara: Thanks, Barb. I was so surprised that he 'stood' there for a photo!

Magda from Canada

Oh my! In our house he would get a lot of love! Maybe even a bath! (grin)

18 Mar 2009 4:30am

@Magda: I'm sure he would! xo

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

You DO get SOME things in your bathroom, Judy!!! I still remember the story with the frog! The capture is one in a million!

18 Mar 2009 11:25am

@Japanalia: I'm chuckling at your comment. The frog was in the small guest bath; this gecko was in our master bath.
It was a WONDER that I even spotted him! We don't normally have them inside the house, but with our very cold (abnormal) winter, I guess he was looking for a warm place to sleep ... or take a bath!

Laurie from New Jersey, United States

Hehe! Cute fella...but I don't think I would want to find on in my bath...but I guess it happens in Florida.

18 Mar 2009 1:03pm

@Laurie: We've had a couple of them in our 21 years here, so that's not bad.
This one was VERY timely for this recent Silly Tuesday! <grin>

Anthony Lambert from Bielefeld, Germany

Great shot, very well captured, did you rub a little lotion into his dry spots !!

18 Mar 2009 4:48pm

@Anthony Lambert: Thanks, Anthony ... and I'm so happy Mike captured him and put him outside to absorb the Florida humidity. That way, I didn't have to be the one to rub the lotion on him. <grin>

Harpo from Muncie, United States

Cool picture. Very good shot

20 Mar 2009 1:09am

@Harpo: Thank you ... it was a funny capture!
