Joe H. Harvey Prayer Garden IIPosted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 8 November 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Sunday blessings everyone. St. Simons Island, the largest barrier island in Georgia, is about the same size as New York's Manhatten Island. It's lighthouse is one of only five surviving light towers in Georgia. Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits. ---~--- Philippians 4:13 'We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.' ... <*}}}><

Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaBeautiful and I love the little cottage with the ivy or wisteria growing on it. Quite lovely and wonderful caught in the evening sun. 8 Nov 2009 6:46am @Marion: It was so gray and misty in the morning and so warm in the evening light. :D Mhélène from Paris, FranceThis is a beautiful composition with in the garden before the little house ! 8 Nov 2009 9:13am Betty from Phillipsburg, United StatesBeautiful composition, and a really beautiful garden! 8 Nov 2009 11:46am Anita Bower from West Nottingham, PA, United StatesI like the composition here. The statue is a bit off center, and is framed by the chimney and tree. The house provides a nice backgrouond. 8 Nov 2009 1:31pm @Anita Bower: Thanks you, Anita. Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaA beautiful place to pray and you have captured it in such excellent detail, Judy. 8 Nov 2009 1:44pm @Michael Skorulski: Thank you so much, Michael ... don't stay away too long! Lambspun from Madison, Maine, United StatesEnjoying the textures on the roof of the building. Wondering what they are. Nice light for this shot. 8 Nov 2009 4:36pm @Lambspun: I don't remember if they were slate or wood. Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, CanadaThe lighting is perfect on this beautifully framed shot Judy! Bravo! ;-) 8 Nov 2009 5:42pm @Eric Cousineau: Thanks, Eric. Susan from Fort Lauderdale, FL, United StatesNice shot....cool idea, prayer garden.... 8 Nov 2009 10:13pm Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanThis is a more homely composition;the beauty of details as well as the framing of the statue give a pleasant feeling to the viewer, as if making the greatness of God more....accessible. 9 Nov 2009 3:58am @Japanalia: Thank you, Gabriela. I can see why many, young and old, go to Epworth-by-the-Sea for spiritual renewal. |
