Are you missing your boys while they are at school? xx Viewfinder from Bradenton, FL, United StatesResembles the Sunshine Skyway from this angle. 27 Oct 2009 2:24pm Lambspun from Madison, Maine, United StatesGreat capture of this bridge from you eye view :) 27 Oct 2009 10:55pm Barbara from Florida, United StatesExactly what I thought, Skyway then realized it has double "masts". It must be the same engineer who designed this. 28 Oct 2009 2:09am Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanThough I know it is a bridge.....it looks like a Gate into the Sky ! I like the angle that leys the imagination run free! 29 Oct 2009 9:37am @Japanalia: I like that ... "a Gate into the Sky." Your poetic nature always shines through! xx SOUL AFLAME from The bosom of Mother Nature, United KingdomReminds me instantly of my love for driving when over visiting family in Canada, or trips to the US of A. I love the freedom of the roads, the massive lanes, the slower speeds and the enjoyment of driving there compared to the frenetic pace back home. It could very well be a gateway to another dimension, who knows what's on the other side..... 5 Dec 2009 4:54pm @SOUL AFLAME: Your comment is so very interesting to me in a number of ways. We had dreamed of getting to the UK this year for our 50th anniversary, but the economic downturn took that dream away. Instead, we took a leisurely trip into the state of Georgia and found plenty of beauty that close to our Florida home. I never thought of England as having a "frenetic pace ... faster speeds" etc. The one thing we didn't miss was the challenge of driving on the 'wrong' side of the road. <grin> |
