In the yard...Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 13 October 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. While they're not really Silly, they can be, especially when sitting looking at themselves in the side mirrors of our cars! These were taken through the window, across the porch and through the porch screening, so are not as sharp as I'd like, but we are thrilled to have them back in the neighborhood! We're off for a two-week trip up into the north Georgia mountains. I hope to have some special photos when we return, but I'll have no internet connection while gone so I won't be able to comment. Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits. ---~--- Philippians 4:13 'We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.' ... <*}}}><

Mhélène from Paris, FranceSo lovely ! Very beautiful photographies and great composition ! 13 Oct 2009 9:12am AG from London, United KingdomWhat joy these must bring and how much they enjoy the ‘facilities’ you so kindly offer. Great work on the montage, too. 13 Oct 2009 9:50am Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanThey are a world unto themselves and a delight to watch! I love the way you built this collage! 13 Oct 2009 11:30am Barbara from Florida, United StatesA delightful sight in the birdbath. I want to say these are scrubjays, but not certain. I don't see them this far south. I see the ground feeders (doves) are not missing a dropped seed in the background. 14 Oct 2009 3:29am @Barbara: No, Barb, they are Bluebirds ... and we've had them off and on over the last 5-8 years. Some years they're here for 3-4 weeks. Considering the shots were taken from a distance and through the window and screening, I was pleased w/the results. Lambspun from Madison, Maine, United StatesVery cool presentation! Just how do you do this? Photoshop? 15 Oct 2009 1:01am @Lambspun: Thanks, Sandy; I just Corel's Snapfire for collages (a free downlload), but I also do some using my PaintShop Pro. |
