Interesting green plants remind me of 4 leaf clovers. Very pleasing composition. 25 Sep 2009 12:05pm @Barbara: It was such a hot day and the sun was so very, very bright. I'm surprised I got any color at all. Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaHow alluring and soft, a lovely, refreshing feel, beautiful photo Judy :) 25 Sep 2009 1:54pm @Lorraine: Thank you, Lorraine. xx john4jack from Corvallis, Oregon, United StatesExquisite. Your photos make me more sure than ever of that ultimate destination. 25 Sep 2009 8:02pm @Viewfinder: Thanks, Glenn, and keep San Antonio on your list; it's a HUGE city, but the Alamo, Riverwalk and the Botanical Gardens I can attest are wonderful features. I can also highly recommend a visit to Max Lucado's church; we've attended services there three different times. He is soooo REAL and down-to-earth. ♥ Susan from Fort Lauderdale, FL, United Statesthis is beautiful Judy....now, another place I'd like to visit!! 25 Sep 2009 9:13pm @Susan: Thanks, Susan; I hope you have checked out the links I shared w/you. We were on a little bridge if I remember correctly. tyan from Singapore, SingaporeHi Judy, the Mid Autumn Festival is a Chinese Harvest Festival, according to the lunar calendar, not our current gregorian calendar. But then again,we have no seasons in Singapore,so many people now are celebrating it for the sake of celebrating it.:( 26 Sep 2009 12:00am @tyan: Okay, that makes sense ... and I guess people just like to celebrate! tyan from Singapore, Singaporei forgot to say a mooncake is a pastry for Mid autumn, you can see a pic of it here:)it's traditionally made of lotus paste but by now people have developed very creative tastes, like ice cream mooncake, chocolate and durian mooncakes...:) 26 Sep 2009 12:03am @tyan: I had to go searching ... don't know what 'durian' is, but I found some photos. Magda from Vancouver, CanadaOhhh how beautiful! Nice perspective and glorious light... that little spark in the water is, like you would say “the cat's meow” ;) 26 Sep 2009 2:47am @Magda: thanks, Magda ... what a lovely comment!
