... with our friends Jack and Kathi, who live in Fair Oaks Ranch. They took us to the San Antonio Botanical Gardens and then we ate at 'Anne Marie's Carriage House Bistro'.
Have a peek at their menu here.

Looks like a fun place to sit and enjoy a visit and a meal. I like those big glass "jars" of tea. Purely Southern. I hope it was "sweet" tea you was a'drinkin...

23 Sep 2009 11:56am

@Viewfinder: It was a fun place to eat, and we were drinkin' tea ... except for Jack w/his water. :D

Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, Canada

Looks good enough to eat.... I agree with Gabriela, you should have named this shot "Pretty In Pink" ;-)

Barbara from Florida, United States

That salad looks delicious! Botanical Gardens, lunch at the Carriage House, it must have been a great day out with friends.
Absolutely Pink is a wonderful color for you.

@Barbara: It was fun, Barb, and poor Kathi just had major jaw realignment surgery to improve her airway. Her jaw was wired shut for about a month and during that time, she passed out in the shower, breaking her nose in three places so back into surgery she went. Splints are now off, and soon the jaw will be unwired; what an awful ordeal.

Lorraine from Gatineau, Canada

Wow they use what I use for drinking glasses! They're much cheaper and don't break as easy when you drop them ;) That food you captured is making me hungry !!

@Lambspun: Can you still buy those glasses? I wonder if Vermont Country Store has them?

Susan from Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States
