If you're not tired of looking at these, I've saved my favorite for tomorrow as a finale of this year-long series.

We certainly are not tired of looking at these pictures. They are very precious and you are so lucky to have several. Ray and I have only a couple. This is an adorable picture. We only have one mortgage now!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that no one else will understand that statement, but I know that you do. We are so delighted.

@Marion: There's a long story about our photographer ... but he somehow burned the negatives in the development process, so we have about a dozen ... the ones you've seen on Webshots, and are grateful to have them.
HALLELUJAH on the 'one' mortgage ... we DO know the relief that comes with that and we're happy for you!

Marriages are no different. Add growth to the mix and at different stages for each, but in the end it's WELL WORTH the efforts! xx

Happy 50th. Such a major milestone. From the looks of your photograph two days ago, you love each other more than ever and with a depth that you couldn't begin to conceive fifty years ago.

You are so correct; the depth of love was impossible to conceive on that momentous day 50 years ago today!
I have to share a short note on that. John & Jackie Kennedy were married on Sept. 12, 1953. When he was killed in 1963, we had been married four years. My thoughts then, were "Thank God they had ten years." What I did not know then was that at the ten year mark, it's even a greater loss.
Now when spouses die after many long years of marriage, I'm beginning to see the enormity of that loss. ♥
