Quite fitting for our official Memorial Day, this reflection was taken at the Korean Memorial in Washington, D.C. last weekend.
This is the day to remember our fallen comrades and all who have served for our freedoms.

@Lorraine: We just watched a documentary called "Fighting for your Life" on PBS ... EXCELLENT and very timely for this weekend.

Came with a heavy price,all over the world.I just watched a documentary on the Rape of Nanking during Japanese Occupation and sleepless over the atrocities they committed.

Very excellent choice for Memorial Day. The people reflected in the granite slab are an excellent addition to the image.
