At the river in Innsbruck, Austria...

Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 24 May 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Silly me ... I had labeled this Innsbruck, Switzerland. Thanks to one of my commenters, I was corrected.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits.

Another wonderful memory. I am sure enjoying this look back at your 50 years. It goes by so fast. Such a lovely couple. No wonder Bridget has such a wonderful smile, she came by it honestly.

@Marion: Yes, the 50 years has gone so quickly ... and thanks for your comment on Bridget's smile.
I'm tickled for our parts in her gene pool. xx

26 May 2009 11:25am

@Hidalgo: Thank you so much ... going through our old photos during this, our 50th year of marriage has been a great joy!

Craig from Vacaville, California, United States

PhotoShop may be able to help correct some of the color shift that has happened over the years with this snapshot. It might even help with the contrast but I don't think you can correct the burned out highlights. It may have been a better snapshot if you would have waited for the sun to duck behind a cloud that time of day. But ultimately, nothing will bring back the clipped feet. Happy 50th!

27 May 2009 12:23pm

@Craig: Thank you, Craig, for your constructive comment. Sadly, we were with a group and were lucky to have someone take this snapshot of us while there. There was no time to wait for better lighting as we had to get back to the bus. :(

I worked on the photo in PSP XII (don't have PS), but probably not enough, as I was preparing 52+ images to use during the course of this 50th year. Truthfully, I'm just happy to have them for our 'memory book'.

Marion from Cincinnati, United States

Judy, I really enjoy your photos from Austria! We have been in some areas of Austria and we love it there. I can't wait to get back there again. :)

31 May 2009 1:29pm

@Marion: How we'd love to go back, but at our ages, foreign travel is probably beyond us. We're just so happy we got to see what we did.
