Tomorrow, Sweetheart...

Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 15 May 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Bridget (left) and her three roommates, taken on the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Washington, D.C. by our daughter, following Bridget's completion of the Marine Corps Marathon last fall. (Georgetown University is in the background.)

Mike and I are there for Bridget's graduation tomorrow. Tonight we will all attend the Senior Ball, held in Union Station; naturally I'm hoping for as many photo ops as possible.
I've pre-posted photos but will have no access until our return late on Sunday, and I'll try to catch up next week.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits.

To all my friends here on AM3, thank you for your warm comments.

We are having a BALL in Washington and are so very, very proud of Bridget's accomplishments. I forgot to say that in running the marathon, Bridget raised ovr $6,000 dollars for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society in memory of her uncle Hector who died six months before that run.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone ... Hugs, Judy

Great group shot. Bridget is looking pretty much like a winner for completing her goal. I like that campaign badge one of her friends is sporting...

@Viewfinder: Thanks, Glenn ... and we liked the campaign badge also; it spoke for each of the four of them!

A spectacular view in the background and a very memorable image for Bridget and her roommates.
It has to be a grand event to be there, attend the Senior Ball and graduation ceremony. If someone says, where were you on your 600th post, you will never forget it.
; ) Congratulations!

@Barbara: *Smile* ... I'm not sure I'll remember the 600th post, but I'll definitely remember where I was on this particular weekend.
