Crossing the finish line...

Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 14 May 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

The photo quality is poor, but nevermind; she crossed the finish line with her hands held high!
Bridget's goal was to finish her first marathon, in under 4 minutes; her time was 3 hours, 59 minutes and 25 seconds!

Today we're flying to Washington, D.C., to attend Bridget's college graduation.
I've pre-posted photos, but will have no access until our return late on Sunday.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits.

Wow, she timed that well! We're training for a marathon, my husband and I. I think we've pretty much come to the conclusion that we have a few too many health challenges and it might take us a few years to build up to a full marathon, but you can see on Bridget's face how much joy it gives one to reach the finish line. Excellent capture of a beautiful girl! Have fun at graduation!
