Great timing to capture with clarity both of their wings spread and their motion. I always wonder if they are laughing at me (in my swimsuit) on the beach.

@John: Having grown up near the shore in the Northeast, the NC beach is a place we've never stayed. Might have to DO that!

WE're rather var from the gulf of Yokohama hear, so we get no gulls nearby. But....we have our "laughing sparrows" making merry on our balcony from morning till night!
Love the shot, it is beautifully composed and well balanced!

@Japanalia: I'm happy you have your "laughing sparrows" as we do here at our house also. I have the window open and the bird chirping is so loud and lovely. Mike has six or seven birdhouses he's built at various places and many of them have babies in them!
