Kayla talking with her mom...Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 3 April 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. Fiona's expression was so cute as she watched Kayla talking on the phone. It's a long way from Denver to Florida, but the phone closes the distance! Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits. ---~--- Philippians 4:13 'We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.' ... <*}}}><

Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandWhat a lovely image!!! Nicely captured:-) 3 Apr 2009 9:03am @Linerberry: Thanks so much! Viewfinder from Bradenton, FL, United StatesThese are two cute little girls, Judy. What a wonderful family you have. 3 Apr 2009 10:34am @Viewfinder: Thank you, Glenn; they're truly a blessing. Barbara from Florida, United StatesSweet girls. I like that they are oblivious to your presence with the camera and you captured their feelings. It shows a relaxed but fun time for two cousins together. 3 Apr 2009 12:51pm @Barbara: They knew I was there, but they were concentrating on things other than the camera, which was good. MontereyJohn from Salinas, California, United StatesWhat a pair of sweeties. Pretty darn good shot too! 3 Apr 2009 1:06pm @MontereyJohn: Thank you, John. EYES WIDE SHUT from The library of my soul, United KingdomWe find that with our folks five thousand miles away in Western BC. On the phone they sound so crystal clear, as though they are just around the corner. It's always comforting to be in contact so easily these days with free calls that used to cost a fortune and limit the time we spent on the phone. A really neat shot Judy, lovely expressions 3 Apr 2009 1:35pm @EYES WIDE SHUT: Yes, phone calls are reasonable now-a-days, thank God, but it can't be compared with putting your arms around a grandchild in person. We're 'only' 1,800 miles away, but it surely isn't around the corner. :( john4jack from Corvallis, Oregon, United StatesHeavy conversation. And, oh my Judy, you are terribly spoiled! How do you keep from bursting with inner warmth and joy?? 3 Apr 2009 1:49pm @john4jack: We only had a 2.5 day visit with them all together, so we tried to enjoy EVERY MINUTE, "bursting with inner warm and joy!!!" Bookfool from Mississippi, United StatesThat's so cute! We're 500 miles away from the grandparents. I always hated that. I'd have liked it if my kids could have grown up closer to their extended family. 3 Apr 2009 10:53pm @Bookfool: Thanks ...... these two cousins are 1,800 miles apart and are lucky if they see each other once a year. It's hard. We have two close to us, and then one graduating from college in DC. observing from North West, United KingdomKids are so savvy these days, she's just chatting away there all grown up. This is one for the album..! 3 Apr 2009 11:43pm @observing: Thank you, Mike ... they really grow up too fast, but that's life today. :D @JJ: Thanks a lot, JJ. @Marla: Thank you, Marla.
