Hawaiian afternoon...

I laugh at this photo when I see how absolutely starry-eyed we look. Well, I guess the photo is proof!

PS: I was totally overwhelmed by our ten-year-old beauty, Eleftheria, who dedicated today's posting to me.

@Viewfinder: As I tell our pastor, I could *almost* be his (and your) mother! Some DO have children at age 15! <grin>
PS: We saw John after service today and took him flowers ... he's doing well and wants to begin part-time days tomorrow. I pray he isn't jumping in too quickly. I told Marie if he comes home with bruises it will be because I beat him to get him out of the office! *smile*

@Barbara: Thank you, Barb. As for today, the anniversary of the life-changing call came at 9 pm tonight.
We now begin a new year and in this pre-Easter season, we can only lean on HOPE!

A lovely image. These are the photographs which make us smile as we thumb through our collections and cherish the memories, transported straight back to the moment and location that the photographs were taken. Priceless, Judy. I remember 1984 for so many reasons.......

@EYES WIDE SHUT: You are so right ... and I thank God that I've taken and collected as many photos as I have over the years. When the memory fades, the pictures bring the time period right back to life.
