Magnificent sunset and silhouette. That tree against the gorgeous sky really adds to the shot.
Certainly an image to warm ones spirit.

@Barbara: It was a gorgeous evening sky. I was so happy the orange glow shined into the laundry room through the back door or I would have missed it altogether!

Trully magical colours! We often get this kind of sky... I only wish that my camera could show the true beauty of the light. I've tried many times taking pictures of it but it's never the same as seeing it with your own eyes! Isn't it Judy?!

@Magda: Thank you ... we don't get this type of color often; I'm so happy I didn't miss the opportunity to capture it.
* You're right, Magda, the camera doesn't see sunset colors the way the eye does, but photos put the vision into my memory bank so that I can relive them! :D

judy, a great shot - wonderful trees and shadows and the sky is simply magnificent - it is amazing sometimes how the sky can light up like this for miles and miles if all things fall into place - great capture!

another wonderful shot - but shouldn't it be sunset colors 3 since yesterday's shot (for me) was also a sunset? I know it is a bit confusing for me.....
doesn't matter what the number is, this one is also fabulous, and possibly my favorite - I like the balance the tree brings to this one....

I seriously thought about just copying Barbara's comment and making it my own, but that would be cheating.. :>) It is a beauty and I love the silhouette of the tree against the crimson sky. Chris is right, it should be #3, but like he says, doesn't matter it is fabulous. ♥♥♥

Wow... another wonderful shot, Judy! You've nailed everything you could nail, too. Scott is so right about how, when conditions are right, the sky can be filled with color... sometimes, like in this shot, it's predominantly just one color, too. Thanks for sharing your terrific picture with us!
