Regaining my balance...

This hawk was spotted trying to rest atop our flagpole. It kept slipping but it did not give up. I was lucky to catch a couple of shots.

They like to perch in high places. Nice capture of this one's efforts Judy. Between this and the osprey shots, I can see you've been looking up.

Wonderful capture, with its wings spread, and great detail, they can be real determined and your shot shows this
as for shots on my office walls, I only Have a calender up for 2009 I made of some of my shots

@Observing: We don't see too many hawks, but occasionally they appear. They may be after smaller birds, baby squirrels or rabbits.
