Friendship Intertwined

Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 16 December 2008 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

It took me hours to wind and weave the threads for this ball, but it reminds me of the intricacies of building lasting friendships. I pray God blesses every one of them.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits.

Ooooh, that's beautiful, Judy! I've never seen an ornament quite like it.

@Bookfool: Thank you ... it was tedious work, but very rewarding.

Barbara from Florida, United States

Perfection! I love the colors and pattern. There is patience in your hands to do this. Another ornament with a marvelous story.

@Barbara: I think I've written this before, but ... we may not be 'rich' in $$$, but we share so many manual talents, it's truly been a blessing in our marriage.

Marion from Nanaimo, BC, Canada

Judy this is really beautiful. I'm not sure that I would have the patience to do such a fine work of art. This is a real treausure for sure. Glad that Belle made it through her surgery. A loving pat for her. ♥♥♥

16 Dec 2008 6:07am

@Marion: Thank you ... and yes, it did take patience, but I loved it.
We're so thankful that Belle made it ... and I've just given her you "loving pat". She feels better tonight than last night, but still a bit lethargic.

Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New Zealand

I meant to say yesterday, congratulations on 50 years of marriage:-)

@Linerberry: Thank you, my friend ... on all counts of your message. This truly is a year of reflections for us, and it's been fun as we move toward our 50th anniversary.

@tyan: I'm chuckling ... if I could find the directions, I could do it again, but they're long gone. You could find them online, Ty, I'm sure ... <grin>
I learned many years ago, that I'm not 'cut out' for mass production, but give me a project I can do once and I'm one happy girl/old lady! :D
