Family Treasure

Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 5 December 2008 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

This felt Santa was made by a relative in the early 1950's. My brother and I liked it on our tree back then, as did our three children, and now our two local grandchildren also look for him on our tree!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits.

I love Tradition and old family treasures...my parents have been dead for quite a while and I was shopping in an old store and they had used items and much to my delight I found some old glass ornaments that were exactly like those my parents had always put up when we were children, and behind the box it said Montreal, which is where I was born, so it's touching, and I can't wait for my sister and brothers to see them lol

@Lorraine: How wonderful that you found the old glass ornaments - what a treasure!
I have cousins in Huntingdon, not far south of Montreal. :D

Well he's great; but I like the star effect you processed into Santa's portrait, too. Outstanding, Judy. Prayers for Belle from me and Bella.
