We could not be more proud of this young woman, and only wish we could be with our daughter and son-in-law in Washington, DC, this weekend! See Bridget's fund-raising efforts (the highest one on her team). 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. She is a strong and vibrant young woman. I can see why as grandparents how you could be so proud of her. You have every bragging right indeed. A fine composition of images you have gathered here. You presented these images beautifully. Fantastic work, Judy. 25 Oct 2008 5:35pm @Barbara: FINALLY, I was able to get back in to AM3 ... to thank you for your wonderful comment, Barb. Pride isn't a very good thing when it's focused on ourselves, but it surely is easy to be proud of a grandchild who has fought difficult odds and continues to strive, setting new goals. Bridget would love to finish the marathon in under four hours - time will tell. Today it's raining in DC, but tomorrow's forecast is: Sunny. Highs in the upper 60s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph, which sounds perfect for the runners. Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaWay to go Bridget. What an incredible young lady and your love and pride shows through this wonderful collage of her Uncle Hector and his family. Bridget is such a little brick, we could all take lessons from her. My last comment for several days Judy. Will be off line as of this evening. Have a few minutes to spare at work. 25 Oct 2008 8:36pm @Marion: Dear Marion ... thank you for your wonderful comment ... and what a nice way to say so long until mid-week when you are re-connected. Tomorrow we'll be checking Bridget's time; they wear a chip on their sneaker that will tell where they are on the course. We'll also be in touch with Susan & Charlie. We're praying that all will go well and that you won't be too overly exhausted with your move. Lots of hugs............ xx PS: FYI - Gabriela is back at home and so thankful! Chris from South Jersey, United Stateswhat a wonderful way to remember a loved one - it shows incredible strength - God bless her on her run!! 26 Oct 2008 12:40am @Chris: Thank you, Chris ...
