These gulls made me laugh, especially when I saw the photo on the monitor!

@Zygène: Merci beaucoup!

Mandy Provan from Johannesburg, South Africa

hahah - love your title, it really does look as if the one is trying to get them to do a bit of exercise and the other 2 look so uninterested!!! hahaha. Great shot Judy.

@Mandy Provan: I laughed when I saw it too ..... they were funny.

Viewfinder from Bradenton, United States

I'm wondering if this is a gull aerobics class gearing up for action. It's a fun photo, Judy. But they look so serious... hah!

22 Oct 2008 11:14am

@Viewfinder: Silly birds ... or is it a silly photographer? ;D

Barbara from Florida, United States

Beauty and humor combined. A fun shot Judy. I love the pose and feather pattern of the one with raised wings. He looks like he is standing on the lower two purposely giving him something to stand on.
Speaking of exercise, off for my morning walk. Weather is beautiful.

22 Oct 2008 12:09pm

@Barbara: The one you like was obviously the one I focused on ........ and in the lens it did look like he was standing on the others. You know how it goes with a digital, you just snap away and the surprise comes when you view them at home. :D ... Yes, it is GORGEOUS out!

Lorraine from Gatineau, Canada

AND a stretch 1-2-3 stretch, lol it's too good, what excellent timing, you must have been thrilled indeed when it loaded up, plus it's beautiful ;)

22 Oct 2008 12:59pm

@Lorraine: Giggling...........gee, were you leading them that day, Lorraine? I'm sorry I didn't see you! :D

tyan from Singapore, Singapore

MaryB from Staffordshire, United Kingdom

I can just imagine the scene, Momma, Poppa and baby bird. Baby bird asks his parent, "Am I doing it right?" :)
the sand looks lovely and soft.

22 Oct 2008 11:22pm

@MaryB: Thank you, Mary, and I appreciate your sense of humor on this shot!
