Ina from Krugersdorp, South AfricaOMG! This is fantastic! Beautiful colors and great composition! 21 Oct 2008 6:27am @Ina: Thank you very much, Ina. Barbara from Florida, United StatesWOW! Outstanding capture Judy. Well balanced and framed. The haze in the distance, the building in foreground, everything about this image is FANTASTIC! I have to say it is one of your best. 5 Stars from me. 21 Oct 2008 9:29am @Barbara: You know, I thought about cropping the bird out, but then decided he seemed to be enjoying the view as much as I did, so I left him alone. :D Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaNice composition, Judy. People having great fun on the beach. I like the distant mist. 21 Oct 2008 11:57am @Michael Skorulski: Thanks a lot, Michael. Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesHey Judy, this is incredible. Miami almost looks like the Emerald City of Oz there in the background. All you need to do is splice in a little yellow brick road and use a green filter... heh. No, don't. It's a really good photo, all on its own. 21 Oct 2008 11:59am @Viewfinder: Hee, hee ... glad you liked the photo, even w/o the "yellow brick road." :D Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaI love the bird in the foreground. He just finishes this amazing image. I have always loved shades of blues and browns together. This picture has so many qualitites there are almost too many to mention. The horizon zig zags and then the ocean shoreline zig zags too. An incredible picture. I will give you five stars too, but will touch them and light them up too, see now they are gold instead of grey!!! 21 Oct 2008 12:49pm @Marion: Thank you, Marion ... I too, love blues (& aquas) and browns together. My favorite memory is a room on Kauai, which was decorated in those colors. ... Your comment warms my heart and I thank you for the golden 'stars' ... Hugs ... xx Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaI love every precious pixels in this astronomically excellent photo, wow 21 Oct 2008 2:05pm @Lorraine: Thank you, Lorraine ... what a precious comment! xx tyan from Singapore, Singaporeoh this is so lovely, the buildings on the right looked like they were on clouds and so unreal.Reminds me of the opening scene when i watch CSI Miami here:) 21 Oct 2008 3:09pm @tyan: Thank you, Tyan ... I'm happy you enjoyed this lovely scene; it was truly beautiful. Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomBeautiful beachline and cityscape, it's an excellent shot. 21 Oct 2008 4:41pm @Observing: Thank you, Michael! MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomWell I have to say Judy this is breathtaking! Mandy Provan from Johannesburg, South AfricaGorgeous shot Judy - it looks very much like our coastline!! 22 Oct 2008 6:15am @Mandy Provan: Thank you, Mandy, and also for your comment on the church shot. Arash from Dubai, United Arab Emirateswow! look at those buildings! 22 Oct 2008 8:01am @Arash: Thank you very much - glad you liked the shot! Sandrine from Cincinnati, United StatesGreat image... is it pollution or mist in the distance? Great composition. 22 Oct 2008 10:30pm @Sandrine: Most likely, it's ocean mist, as little pollution moves in off the Atlantic, or even if a westerly breeze no pollution comes from the Gulf of Mexico. |
