Mandy's collage...

Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 10 October 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

While we don't currently have a cat in our house, we remember our beloved Mandy - here is a group of good memories, from kitten to full-grown and very curious cat!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits.

oh Mandy, oh gosh she's so beautiful...her tiny little gorgeous self turning into this superb Feline with a taste for --lettuce? lol oh she must be in Kitty Heaven ;)

@Lorraine: She was such an affectionate cat ... and yes, she crossed the Rainbow Bridge!

Betty from New Jersey, United States

Mandy is a beautiful cat! She's eating lettuce? Sam and Ella are into spaghetti and cereal! Beautiful collage!

@Betty: Thanks, Betty. Her curiosity led her, I think, however she knew she wasn't supposed to be up on the kitchen counter! ;D

MJ from Delaware, United States

@MJ: Thanks, MJ ... she was such a love!

Great memories and very cute images, Judy. Glad to see she liked her greens.

@Michael Skorulski: She delighted our hearts while we had her ... sadly, only four years.

Jeff from Pembroke Dock, United Kingdom

@Veronelle: Thank you, Veronelle ... I love your name!

Marion from Nanaimo, BC, Canada

What delightful pictures of Mandy. I'm not sure which one I like best, but that one of her standing up on the chair is priceless. Cleo loves spaghetti too, but I'm not sure if she would like lettuce. How totally cute Mandy was and by the looks of it completely spoiled and pampered just like any cat should be. Love this collage Judy.

@Marion: Thank you so much, Marion; she was such a love. When we would walk from the breakfast room toward our bedroom (behind the rocker), she would RACE, jump into the rocker and 'bat' her paw at us. The only photo I have of that is so tiny, the only way to use it was in a collage. If I can 'soften' Mike to the point of two pets, we'll have another cat (before Belle's days are over). :D

Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United States

Gorgeous... I need a cat bad... alas I don't have a picture of a cat for tomorrow... oh well... will have to get one just to put it on here... hahaha

@Fliss: Thanks, Fliss .......... they are special animals and pets!

Sara from East Coast, United States

Look at that kitty munchin' on some lettuce!!

This is a beautiful little girl you have!

@Sara: Thanks, Sara ... she was definitely a beautiful and loving pet while she lived.

Happy memories I'm sure. They bring so much pleasure yet ask for nothing.

Nice montage Judy.

@Observing: Thanks, Mike; you're right, only to be fed...

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

Ahahaha! I haven't seen this collage as I was not online at that time! Mandy, wearing the Phantom of the Opera mask, from kitten to eating salad! It looks like she loved to coil into all sorts of round things!

25 Aug 2009 6:00am

@Japanalia: Mandy was really a very personable cat - a lovely pet until medical problems arose. We only had her four years.
