Sunday fun at Sebastian Inlet...

If you don't have a canopy, I guess an umbrella will do!

Marion from Nanaimo, BC, Canada

Great photo, I wonder what they are doing standing up. It's a real fun and colorful picture.

6 Oct 2008 10:38am

@Marion: I wondered the same thing - not really safe!!!

Viewfinder from Bradenton, United States

I think the umbrella adds a lot of personality to this really nice coastal/water-based scene. But it looks like the one in red gets no shade... hahaha!

6 Oct 2008 11:27am

@Viewfinder: It was fun to see this, but I can't imagine spending any amount of time under such a small bit of shade out on the water. ;D

Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United States

Ahhhhh... one of my many stomping grounds... makes me want to jump in my van and head off down there but reality prevails today - errands...

6 Oct 2008 1:01pm

@Fliss: Lucky you to have it so close to you. Do they offer a yearly pass? ;D

Barbara from Florida, United States

Great capture Judy. I like how you framed the scene with greenery and rocks. A refreshing image.
Going faster may turn that umbrella into a parachute.

6 Oct 2008 2:08pm

@Barbara: The natural 'framing' is called catching them in an opening! ;D
I like your "parachute" idea ........ funny!

Eleftheria! from Athens, Greece

Beautiful trip with the boat, thanks for the comment again, i am happy you liked it! Outside the castle of Pylos there is sea, not a lake, but is beautiful too. Have a nice day!

6 Oct 2008 2:16pm

@Eleftheria!: Aha........I should have thought of that hillside on the sea (not lake) ... shame on me! ;D
I'm glad you like the boat with the umbrella for shade!

Michael Skorulski from Cigel, Slovakia

Wonderful image of people having fun in the sun. I like the shimmer on the water as well.

6 Oct 2008 4:23pm

@Michael Skorulski: Funny group, standing while motoring along, but heading to the calmer river, I guess they were safe.
Thanks, Michael.

Observing from West Cheshire, United Kingdom

It looks good fun, and the parasol is just the job to keep the sun off, was there an ice box with beer ?

7 Oct 2008 12:18am
