One day earlier though......the anniversary is on Aug,12! But....WHAT A PLEASANT WARM SURPRISE!!!! Dearest Judy and Mike, we both thank you from the heart for remembering our anniversary and making it so much more special! That's the kind of sky I like, it has character! May you both be blessed with happy days ahead! From our heart to yours! Warm hugs, Gabriela & Yoshiyuki

11 Aug 2008 5:19am

@Japanalia: I know it's early my dear friend, but because you're a half-day ahead of us, if I waited until tomorrow, the day would have been half gone. On the other hand, I do not know at what time new photos appear for you.

Between us, can you believe that we've got 70 years of married life? We are happy to be thinking of you of during this special time, and as you prepare for an uninvited separation. Warm hugs back!

Marion from Nanaimo, BC, Canada

What a lovely thing to do for Gabriela and Yoshiyuki on their anniversary. I am sure that is George Washington in those clouds. What an awesome picture Judy.

11 Aug 2008 6:17am

@Marion: I often forget to check my calendar; this time I was 'lucky'. ;D
Not sure if it's George or not - that day it looked like Mr. Weatherman!

@Viewfinder: They certainly did come, with a deluge of rain. We had to pull off the road in Tarpon Springs, the visibility was ZERO.

Carlos Palma from San Juan, Philippines

wow... nice nimbus clouds...(nimbus right?) you could just feel the softness

11 Aug 2008 12:28pm

@Carlos Palma: I'm not a 'pro' on clouds, but I think you're right - cumulonimbus clouds are ones that grow upward and are a forerunner of thunderstorm activity.

You know, when i was living with my foster family, they used to give me the fish head to eat for dinner, and i remember liking to suck on the eyes..yucks,i no longer like doing that, LOL, hope i didnt disgust yoU!

11 Aug 2008 3:35pm

@tyan: You've packed a heap of info in that paragraph, my friend! #1, thank you for your comment on the clouds; they truly were exceptional that day as we drove home from the Gulf Islands.

#2, I'm so sorry the boys are still suffering ... and you, are YOU feeling any better?

#3, I didn't know of your foster family, and I'm not sure I support their idea for your dinner. Disgust me? No, but I'd admonish you if you did that to Caleb or Ian - even from half-way around the world! *smile*
