Marion from Nanaimo, BC, Canada

A very intimate moment. Hold on there, she has to pull up her bathing suit strap. That water is a wonderful color Judy.

22 Jul 2008 6:53am

@Marion: I can see this is going to be fun! ;D

I hadn't even noticed that she was raising her strap.
The well-toned legs and the seaweed in the water caught my eye.

Cia from Kvänum, Sweden

Lovely shot

22 Jul 2008 8:48am

@Cia: Thank you, Cia.

Observing from West Cheshire, United Kingdom

That's a great shot Judy, a very natural beach photo.

22 Jul 2008 9:29am

@Observing: They seemed most comfortable!

Betty from New Jersey, United States

A wonderfully different kind of beach photo... well done, Judy.

22 Jul 2008 9:56am

@Betty: Thanks, Betty ... I wish my legs were in such great shape!

Chris from South Jersey, United States

Great composition - but is she taking off her bathing suit?!?! What kind of beach are you going to? ;-)

22 Jul 2008 10:03am

@Chris: Thanks, Chris ... the beach? Well, it's your kind of beach; families, dogs, etc. ... <grin>

Erik from Amersfoort, Netherlands

Great composition, nice work !

22 Jul 2008 10:25am

@Erik: Thank you, Erik.

Paco Díaz from Palma de Mallorca, Spain

It's always wonderful to see love expressions like this one.
Good shot, good light and color.
Maybe you can clone these herbs in the first plan

22 Jul 2008 11:37am

@Paco Díaz: Hi, Paco ... thanks for your comment.
I'm not sure which photo you're suggesting I "clone the herbs" into.

Those sea oats in the foreground give a hint that I was far back from the couple.

Lorraine from Canada

Oh la la j'ai chaud lol very risque, wonderful wonderful compo dear Judy, the lady lying down looks like the lady lying down on my photo a while back, except instead of lovers in the distance, it's children, I ADORE YOUR take on it :)

22 Jul 2008 11:48am

@Lorraine: Yes, I looked back to your "Summer Dream" shot (using my PicLens).

Risque? Not really; they kissed and then casually strolled on down the beach, probably waiting for the sun to set.

Tracey from United States

great beach shot. love the sand and the sea weed in the wave. i love the sea grass up close that your looking threw.

22 Jul 2008 12:26pm

@Tracey: Those sea oats were a good distance from the water and we were sitting behind them on the patio in front of the motel. This scene just captured my eye and I shot, seeing the details later. ;D

Viewfinder from Bradenton, United States

Ahh, two lovers on the beach... a most compelling capture Judy. This has some of the heat from that great movie, "From Here to Eternity," woven into the fabric of their embrace. You caught the action at a very good moment.

22 Jul 2008 1:49pm

@Viewfinder: Thank you, kind Sir!
A "From Here to Eternity" setting might have been too heated for our audience, though. <grin>

Ina from Krugersdorp, South Africa

Very nice canded shot, love it! Thank you for your cheerful comment on my blog today, I really enjoyed it :)))

22 Jul 2008 6:12pm

@Ina: Thanks, Ina - and thanks for letting me 'love' Gigi from a distance!
What a wonderful subject you have for new photos!!!

Jen from Alpharetta, United States

Great capture of the beach lovin'

22 Jul 2008 11:45pm

@Jen: Thanks, Jen.

tyan from Singapore, Singapore

oh what a lovely moment,the lady lying on the mat looks a bit out of place though,haha:)

23 Jul 2008 2:38am

@tyan: Thank goodness she had her reading material so she could shield her eyes, right?

Barbara from Florida, United States

Well composed and timely capture. Nice embrace. The color of the water and sand are beautiful.

23 Jul 2008 3:34am

@Barbara: Thanks, Barb.
I'm still impressed with the good muscle tone in her legs. *smile*

Russ Devan from New Hanover, United States

Very interesting shot. Let's hope that she was just trying to get the sand out of her bathing suit!

30 Aug 2008 2:46pm

@Russ Devan: You very well may be correct, Russ!
