Taken at Weeki Wachee, which is soon to become a Florida State Park.
He was so willing to pose but turned from me the minute a worker came with a cracker for him.

I think the state is going to keep the mermaid show going, but only time will tell. We're happy the park didn't fall into oblivion.

Very cool. Educational, too - this is the first time I ever realized that peacocks look like turkeys that got lost in a Sherwin-Williams factory.
