1935 - Taken by my Dad

Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 11 May 2008 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

This is a prized photo, because it was taken by my father in 1935, the year before he and my mother were married. There are shots of them along a stream in the woods somewhere, but none of them is labeled other than the date.

Genesis 1:11
Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.

Silly me ... I obviously wasn't even thinking about Mother's Day when I posted this photo by my dad. I guess I'll have to feature Mother on Father's Day. *smile*

I love this picture Judy. It is so inviting. Love the little bridge and it looks like there is a lake over to the left. Your Dad was a great photographer. It must run in the family. :D Happy Mother's Day, sweetie. Another milestone.

@Chris: How I wish I had a larger file image to work with, but it's precious none-the-less.

I can only say that it's a Timeless Black and White image, every bit as good now as then.
