My husband . . .Posted by Judy (Brooksville, Florida, United States) on 2 May 2008 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. This a tale on myself. I cleaned my diamond stud earrings Mike gave me many years ago, over my bathroom sink. However, when I went to rinse the cleaner off one of them, it slipped out of my fingers - yes, the stopper was closed, so it didn't go down the drain. BUT ... I slid the earring up the front side of the bowl and into the little overflow hole it went ... egads!!! When Mike came home from work, I told him what happened and he immediately went to work. I'll tell you the rest of the tale tomorrow. Thank you so much for visiting my blog; your comments are greatly appreciated. I apologize for not getting to all of your posts. I will visit as time permits. ---~--- Philippians 4:13 'We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.' ... <*}}}><

Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaYour knight in shining armour. What would we do without our wonderful husbands? I bet Mike just loves having this photo posted. ;D 2 May 2008 5:04am @Marion: Actually, I did show him before I posted them, and he was fine with it. Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaExcellent tale and photo, Judy. I could really see a similar thing happening to me. 2 May 2008 5:20am @Michael Skorulski: Well, I guess I must put you on my "good hubby" list, then! Observing from Chester, United KingdomHmmm... the problems women cause for men... tut tut ;) Nice story 2 May 2008 6:35am @Observing: We just have to 'test' their worth now and again, right? ;D Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaMike to the rescue...good man, fun bit Judy LOL can't wait for part 2 ;) 2 May 2008 9:12am @Lorraine: The 2nd photo may not be as interesting to women, but the tale is good! ;D Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesThis would have to be a photo of love in action, Judy. 2 May 2008 11:19am @Viewfinder: Truer words are rarely spoken! Betty from New Jersey, United StatesOh Judy, that's something I would do, too! Wonderful shot of your husband rescuing the earring! Can't wait until tomorrow! 2 May 2008 12:01pm @Betty: Hee, hee.........hang on! ;D @Dylan: You'll have to look tomorrow for you answer. ;D Barbara from Florida, United StatesI must say Judy, you know how to keep Mike busy. I had to laugh because while you thought all was well with the stopper down you still managed to find a way to get that earring down the drain. That really takes talent to do you know. This is bringing back memories for all of the "talent" I have had over the years. 3 May 2008 4:53am @Barbara: Yup ... I managed to find a way 'around' the closed drain! :D @Anita: I've seen BETTER, but this was a memorable moment! |
